Cerbera Odollam

It is commonly known as Suicide Tree or Pong-Pong Tree. It is well suited in tropical and coastal areas. It is a ornamental plant with white flowers can grow upto 10 t o12 metre to height. The seeds are used for insect or rodent repellants due to toxicity and used for bio-diesel production also. Family – Apocynaceae, Genus – Carbera, Species – C. Odollam.
